The objective of this sustainable garden is to provide an educational opportunity and further the organic cause in the community. Team goals include providing healthy, local produce and reducing our collective carbon footprint. A structure has been developed to allow volunteers to participate in the garden project and two large scale farmers markets have been conducted to showcase the Student Operated Enterprises. Mitigation steps have been implemented to manage the abundant deer and groundhog presence in the garden spot. |
